Our growing company has opportunities to work with birds, hamsters, rabbits and other small animals, and reptiles in our Fish Mart location in West Haven, CT. Our team works together to supply our customers with the nation’s top pets. If you are dependable, responsible, and committed to safety, this may be the job for you!
Location: Fish Mart in West Haven, CT
Shift Details: Monday- Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Friday 4:00 PM-9:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Pack livestock (aquatics, birds, animals, reptiles, etc.) in proper boxes/carriers and label with proper account number. Stage orders in their specified location in the warehouse/Annex.
Qualifications
Physically place stock into boxes in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
Mark boxes with customer account numbers that correspond with order picking list.
Correlate with personnel from other packing areas so as to be able to bring orders together in their proper staging areas in the warehouse/Annex.
Move boxes by hand truck to their specified staging area.
Record the total number of boxes on drivers manifest or walk in box sheet.
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while on the job and treat every customer with courtesy and respect.
Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Working Conditions
Ability to walk and stand for up to 12 hours plus per shift.
Able to lift boxes up to 50lbs.
