Clinical Instructor – CNA & Medication Technician Programs

Location: Joplin, Missouri | Schedule: Monday–Friday | Direct Patient Care: None

The Opportunity

This Clinical Instructor role focuses on classroom teaching and supervised skills labs, not bedside care. You'll guide students through CNA and Med Tech programs, helping them build the competence and confidence required by Missouri state standards. This is an opportunity to stay rooted in healthcare while shifting to a stable, education-focused setting.

What You’ll Do

1. Teach CNA and Med Tech curricula in line with state-approved standards
2. Lead classroom sessions and simulate hands-on skills training
3. Evaluate student performance with written tests and practical assessments
4. Track attendance and academic progress
5. Stay current with state regulations and best practices
6. Collaborate with fellow instructors to ensure instructional consistency

Qualifications

1. Active, unencumbered Missouri RN license
2. 2+ years of recent experience in long-term or acute care
3. (Preferred) Prior experience as an educator or preceptor
4. Eligible for CNA and Med Tech Instructor certifications in Missouri (or willing to obtain)
5. Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
