As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Driver Performance Manager to join our team in Little Rock, AR. This is a unique opportunity to shape the success, safety, and efficiency of our driver network in one of our key markets.

Position Overview

The Driver Performance Manager oversees the full lifecycle of driver performance—from recruitment and onboarding to safety, compliance, and operational excellence. You’ll serve as the primary leader for driver engagement and development, ensuring our team delivers top-tier service while maintaining the highest safety standards.

This role reports directly to local and regional leadership and plays a vital part in delivering safe, efficient, and compliant transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly driver safety meetings to foster a culture of accountability and safety.
  • Monitor driver behavior and compliance using Samsara and other performance management tools.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coach underperforming drivers, and recognize top performers.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and internal safety policies.
  • Serve as a liaison between drivers and leadership to resolve issues and boost morale.
  • Analyze performance data and generate reports to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with operations and dispatch to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
  • Stay current on transportation laws, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience in transportation management, driver performance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and local/state compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with Samsara or similar telematics systems is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable leading meetings and training sessions.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
