Role: ETL Developer Matillion

Location: Canada Remote

Mode: Contract



JD of the Role:

1. ETL development (Matillion and DataStage)
2. ETL Unit testing and documenting them.
3. Documentation(Software design document)
4. Interaction with business for the requirements and help the business analyst in finalizing the requirements.
5. Unix(DataStage scripting)
6. Python (Matillion scripting)
7. knowledge of multiple databases Snowflake SQL, Netezza, MYSQL.
8. Azure Cloud (Blob Storage, Devops, git)
9. Existing runbook updates/ new creation
10. Enhancement to existing code and development from start.
11. Suppot QA for testing
12. Production support experience is good to have.
13. Work Estimation and timely completion
14. Able to work parallelly with multiple projects at a time.
15. Code deployment and its respective documentation.
16. Developers role is vital right from gathering requirements from business, supporting BA, then estimating the work hour efforts, then developing the code, thorough unit testing in dev, then to deploy it in testing environment then support QA, once testing sign off is done , then promote the code to higher testing env for regression testing, provide KT to production support and finally deploying the code to production.
