We are looking for a professional who understands editorial standards and can consistently deliver fast, compelling, and quotable pitches in response to media queries (HARO, Featured, etc.) while cultivating positive journalist relationships.
**A writing background and portfolio/sample submissions are required.**
**What You’ll Receive**
* **Starting Pay:** $450 per month
* **Performance Bonuses:** Top-performing specialists can advance from $450 to up to **$1,000 per month in under six months** by meeting our quality and speed KPIs (details provided upon hire).

**Who We’re Looking For**
* **Non-Negotiable:** Proven writing experience (1+ years preferred) with the ability to submit a portfolio or relevant writing samples (e.g., media pitches, articles, marketing copy).
* **Exceptional Writing Ability:** Superb command of written English, strong grammar, and excellent editorial judgment. All outputs must be publication-ready.
* **Relationship-Oriented Professional:** Experience communicating politely and professionally, with the ability to build long-term rapport with journalists.
* **Strategic Thinker:** Understanding of media relations, PR strategy, or SEO link building is a significant advantage. You should know how to pitch a compelling angle—not just promote a company.
* **Fast, Focused, and Reliable:** Ability to respond quickly and deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines (e.g., targeting submission within the first 50 responses).
**Key Responsibilities**
As a **Remote Editorial Outreach Specialist**, your primary focus will be generating media coverage through expert communication and strong relationship management:
* **Craft Quotable Pitches:** Write clear, concise, expert-level responses with strong soundbites and quotable insights reporters can use immediately.
* **Strategic Outreach & Follow-Up:** Manage query platforms (HARO, Featured, etc.), ensuring fast submissions and timely, professional follow-ups to build journalist relationships.
* **Communication Management:** Organize, research, and respond to media correspondence with clarity, professionalism, and a focus on maintaining positive rapport.
This is a long-term, fully remote position focused on content quality, measurable media outcomes, and professional relationship building.
Regularization to permanent status is based on consistently excellent performance.
