Reporting to the Manufacturing Finance Manager, you will be a key part of our plant's finance team, helping to ensure accurate and timely financial data. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a Fortune 200 company and grow your skills in corporate accounting and manufacturing finance. **Your responsibilities will include** + Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. + Manual Journal Entries. + Prepare and reconcile accounts, including invoices, payments, and general ledger entries. + Help gather data and prepare reports for budget tracking and forecasting. + Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. + Ensure compliance with all internal controls and accounting standards. + Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed. **Minimum requirements** + Associate's or Bachelor's Degree + 1+ years of experience in an accounting or finance support role. + Proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Slides and Microsoft Excel **Preferred skills and experiences** + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field + Experience with SAP, Tableau, or other ERP/BI systems. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent time management and organizational abilities. + Experience with continuous improvement systems (Lean, Six SIgma, WCM) Connect with us and learn more about Whirlpool Corporation See what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers ( .
