Job Description

System One is seeking a mid- to senior-level Network Engineer for a long-term contract role. This individual will work closely with a team of experienced engineers and contractors to support and optimize enterprise networking infrastructure.


Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This position is not open to corp-to-corp, subcontractor or independent consulting arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and enhance enterprise networking infrastructure with a strong focus on Cisco routers and switches
• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco SD-WAN environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently—must be able to hit the ground running
• Provide technical input on network architecture, design, and optimization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering
• Expertise in Cisco routers and switches
• Hands-on experience with firewalls ( Palo Alto preferred ) and SD-WAN solutions
• Experience supporting data center networks
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fully onsite environment
