Position Summary: Personal Trainers are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Dynamic Fitness Brand. QUALIFICATIONS : Certification/Education: - High School Diploma or GED required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certified
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
- National Certification Required
Experience: - Personal Training experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Knowledge of proper exercise techniques and the principles of physical fitness
- Must be able to operate fitness machines and equipment
- Ability to work with computers
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills (orally and written)
- Excellent Customer Service skills (active listening)
- Independent, self-motivated, (inner drive)
- Must be able to work with people in a “team” atmosphere
Physical Qualifications: - Ability to work in club office; move about the club floors and rooms; review, revise, create club paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public
- Required to demonstrate or explain proper physical fitness activities, techniques, and procedures
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Physical effort required for daily duties includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing, walking, and sitting.
- Ability to communicate telephonically with employees, members, and the public
- Ability to access and operate company computer systems including prepare documents, enter data into a computer system, read reports from a computer database or email system
