Position Details The Department of Philosophy and Religion in the College of Arts & Letters at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors in Philosophy.
Responsibilities include: 1. Create a syllabus and course-related materials in accord with department guidelines.
2. Teach course according to departmental guidelines.
3. Provide meeting times outside of class.
4. Administer a final exam during the University-specified final exam period at the end of the semester.
5. Complete course grading and submit final grades through the on-line system.
The successful candidate will have: 1. A minimum of a Master's Degree or equivalent (e.g., "ABD" status and in good standing in Ph.D. program) in Philosophy with at least 18 credit hours in philosophy.
2. College teaching experience preferred.
