Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Tech to join our healthcare team in Mechanicsburg. In this role, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support therapeutic treatments.
- Assist physical therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment
- Apply hot and cold therapy treatments according to established protocols
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the therapy area
- Set up and maintain therapy equipment and supplies
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a physical therapy or occupational therapy program (preferred)
- Working toward obtaining a college degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic records
- Knowledge of therapy equipment and safety protocols
- Genuine compassion for helping others
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in following treatment protocols
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
