Regional Sales Director

Travel: Must be able to travel within and between assigned territories across the United States.

Preferred locations :  Chicago, IL, Dallas TX, Austin TX, St. Louis MO, or Minneapolis MN

About the Role

BlueVoyant is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Director to lead our sales efforts across a designated territory, focusing on both Small and Mid-sized companies (SMCs) and Enterprise clients . This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, driving team performance, and achieving revenue targets. You will manage a high-performing team of SMC and Enterprise sellers, collaborating closely with field sellers, sales engineers, channel account executives and business development representatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about cybersecurity, thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of building successful sales organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies, with a dual focus on new business acquisition and the expansion of existing accounts.
  • Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals to exceed revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners across the US.
  • Drive execution of strategic and tactical plans to support business growth.
  • Implement Go-To-Market strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Hire, develop, and retain top sales talent.
  • Oversee territory analytics, reporting cadence, and sales forecasting.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and establish regular review processes.
  • Define and manage sales compensation and incentive programs.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships and channel relationships.
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders to optimize systems and processes.
  • Align departmental budgets with revenue targets.
  • Continuously improve sales tools, technologies, and workflows.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and execute impactful campaigns and field events.
  • Engage in strategic customer meetings and support deal closures.
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities within the manufacturing segment, driving growth and market share.
Qualifications
  • Proven success in leading sales teams focused on both new business acquisition and account management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales programs.
  • Track record of consistent revenue growth and target achievement.
  • Experience in direct sales and channel partner programs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive experience in the US market.
  • Skilled in team building and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in anticipating business needs.
  • Willingness to travel across the US, as required.
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of professional sales management experience.
  • 5+ years of account management experience focused on pipeline growth and expansion.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions, preferably Managed Security Services.
  • Background in B2B channel-based sales.
  • Experience managing both field and inside sales teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms for pipeline and performance management.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or MEDDIPICC.
