As a **Security Officer - Residential Patrol Full-Time** in **Chapel Hill, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a residential community. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintain a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
+ Document incidents, observations, and/or interactions as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
+ Support access control procedures for the location, monitoring entry and exit points as needed.
+ Assist residents, guests, and/or visitors with inquiries and provide guidance as appropriate.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
