Job Description

We will consider entry-level applicants for these two technical positions. All hirees will receive special training to perform the duties this job entails.

Responsibilities:

• Building cryogenic packages for integrated circuits
• Providing project leadership within the engineering team
• Assisting HYPRES staff as needed

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s Degree or Ph.D in a relevant discipline (highly preferred)
• Experience working on government-funded projects (highly preferred)
• Experience writing engineering requirement documents, and defining/refining product value propositions (highly preferred)
• A relevant degree in engineering or computer science
• Hands-on experience in mechanical and electronic design, prototyping and testing
• A proven track record working with cryogenic systems
• Knowledge of cryocoolers, magnetic shielding and grounding
• Knowledge of low-noise and high-speed electronics
• Project leadership experience within engineering teams
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills working across departments and disciplines
