**Overview** The CoreAI Computational Design team is shaping the next generation of coding environments across VS Code, Azure AI Foundry, GitHub, and Visual Studio. We are looking for a Visual Designer who can breathe life into developer tools through their ability to translate emotion into felt experience with exquisite craft. As coding evolves from a one-way act of writing instructions into a dialogue with agentic systems, we see new possibilities for how software can be experienced. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** + Turn insights into impact - tie every decision to customer value while keeping inclusivity and brand standards front and center. + Bring ideas to life - take concepts from start to finish-motion, 3D, illustration, product design directing and collaborating as needed. + Create with range and precision mood boards to 3D models, motion studies to layouts, all delivered with an eye for detail and top-notch quality. + Keep the bar high - give and receive thoughtful critique that makes the work better. + Stay ahead of the curve - track AI trends, know the players, and spot brand opportunities. + Own the story and make it memorable - present with confidence, persuade when needed, and craft experiences that stick-from compelling narratives to custom event swag. + Team up and juggle with ease - manage multiple projects while collaborating across designers, engineers, marketers, and leadership to ship cohesive work. **Qualifications** Required Qualifications: + Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design + OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service design + OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems). + Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D programs + 4+ years experience concepting and designing across web, mobile, 3D and motion Preferred Qualifications: + Comfortable with AI experimentation and/or prototyping with AI and emerging tools to boost speed, quality, and creative range. + Thrives in high-velocity environment; adaptable to change and comfortable with ambiguity + Expertise in 2D/3D tools - Approaches concepts from a multi-modal, multi-channel sensory experience Product Design IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
