Sheet Metal Mechanic

Jennings Mechanical is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our growing team in Charleston, SC. If you have a strong background in commercial sheet metal work and want to be part of a company that values craftsmanship and teamwork, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components for commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure precise installations
• Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal using hand and power tools
• Install ductwork, ventilation systems, and other sheet metal components
• Ensure all work meets industry standards, safety regulations, and job specifications
• Work alongside project managers, welders, and other trades to complete jobs on time
• Maintain tools and equipment, keeping job sites clean and organized

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3+ years in commercial sheet metal fabrication and installation
• Knowledge: Familiarity with HVAC systems, ductwork, and sheet metal fabrication techniques
• Skills: Ability to measure, cut, and install sheet metal accurately
• Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 preferred; Sheet Metal Apprenticeship or equivalent training is a plus
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and operate hand/power tools
• License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
