Summer 2026 Sponsor Finance Internship

Are you looking for professional experience at a great company in banking and finance? This might be the opportunity for you! We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company in our Risk Management department. This nine-week internship helps college students gain meaningful work experience through targeted educational opportunities to develop them as future organizational leaders. Overview

The Sponsor Finance team provides credit and lending solutions to private equity owned portfolio companies across the country. The team works closely with private equity firms to evaluate acquisition opportunities, underwrite transactions, and structure financing that supports company growth. This group sits at the intersection of banking, private equity, and corporate finance, making it an ideal environment for a student who wants hands-on exposure to deal-making and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct industry and company research to support deal evaluations

  • Assist with financial modeling and review of historical financial statements

  • Analyze macroeconomic and competitive factors influencing specific industries and transactions

  • Assist Relationship Managers with portfolio support, reporting, and project-based tasks

Qualifications

  • Current full-time student enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program

  • Degree emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field

  • Expected graduation date of May 2027 or May 2028

Preferred Skills

  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Have completed some foundational business or finance courses

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn
