Rittenhouse Market is seeking qualified applicants to join our team of full and part time Grocery Clerks and Cashiers in our markets. Candidates should have flexible availability. Weekends, nights and holidays will be included in scheduled hours.

GROCERY/DAIRY/FROZEN CLERK

**Candidates must have knowledge of stocking, rotation of merchandise, maintaining pricing, facing and inventorying grocery items**

Requirements are listed but not limited to the below: 

•  unloading the merchandise in Grocery, Dairy and Frozen sections of the store and backroom
•  should have no limitations with regards to lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, squatting, kneeling and standing for entire shift 4-8 hours
•  keep store shelves fully stocked according to tag allocation
•  keep merchandise rotated and pull out dated product as needed
•  leave assigned section presentable when leaving at the end of scheduled shift
•  greet and assist guests and abide by all of the companies policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

  CASHIER

Rittenhouse Market is seeking qualified applicants to join our team of cashiers. If you are a people person with an outgoing and friendly personality, this is the job for you. You are the first person to greet the guest and the last person that will interact with each guest, so this will give you the opportunity to have them leave with a friendly and positive shopping experience. Candidates should have prior experience working in a retail/hospitality environment and possess a strong “guest first” mentality for a great guest experience.

• must provide excellent customer service with each guest
• greet each guest with eye contact and a smile
• thank each guest when they leave and welcome them to come back
• handle cash/credit card transactions
• performs minor stock work
• become familiar with the products in the market
• assists guests in finding items
• maintain a clean and organized work area
