Who we are: The Nectar family is a diverse group of hard-working and talented individuals, who are brought together by our passion for cannabis, and our absolute commitment to providing excellent service and products to our community.

Who you are: You’re a creative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in bringing ideas to life through video. You have a strong eye for composition, pacing, and emotion — and the technical skill to make it all look effortless.

You’re as comfortable shooting in a grow room as you are capturing interviews or editing branded content. You love finding new ways to communicate ideas visually and can shift gears between brand storytelling, educational content, and internal training videos that make life easier for your teammates.

About the role: We’re looking for a versatile Videographer to help capture the essence of Nectar — from our farms and retail spaces to our in-house brands and internal operations.

This role will collaborate closely with the Branding, Marketing, and Tech teams to produce videos that tell stories, showcase products, and streamline how our employees learn and engage with company systems. You’ll create everything from cinematic brand content to simple “how-to” tech tutorials — helping Nectar communicate more clearly, creatively, and consistently.

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for events or travel as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging video content for Nectar’s brands, retail, farm, and internal operations.
  • Produce brand stories, educational pieces, product features, tutorials, and interviews.
  • Create internal training videos that simplify complex technical processes and reduce tech support requests.
  • Capture photography for digital, social, and print use.
  • Collaborate closely with the branding, marketing, and tech teams to ensure clarity and brand alignment.
  • Plan and execute shoots, including lighting, sound, and composition.
  • Organize and manage digital assets for efficient editing and future use.
  • Adapt visual tone and style to match the wide variety of Nectar’s in-house brands.
  • Contribute creative ideas and take initiative on new visual projects.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in videography, cinematography, and editing.
  • Strong portfolio showing storytelling ability and polished production quality.
  • Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
  • Basic photography skills required.
  • Understanding of lighting, sound, and post-production workflows.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with attention to detail.

Compensation:
$25.00/hour, Full-Time.

Benefits: Benefits include Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, paid time off, an FSA account, Oregon Saves Retirement Account, and EAP (employee assistance program). We offer a store employee discount, tuition reimbursement program, green commute incentive, and a wellness incentive.

Location:
18072 NE Airport Way, Portland OR 97230.

EEO Statement:
At Nectar, we don’t just accept differences — we celebrate them, we support them, and we thrive on them for the benefit of our employees, our products, and our community. Nectar is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
