Key Responsibilities
As an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist , you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced, hospital-based environment. Your duties will include:
Leading and optimizing clinical pharmacy programs related to critical care.
Supporting and educating healthcare staff on appropriate drug use and safety.
Monitoring medication therapies to ensure efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals on treatment planning.
Participating in the development of policies, procedures, and protocols.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Precepting pharmacy residents or students (as applicable).
Qualifications
We welcome pharmacists from a variety of backgrounds, and are open to experienced professionals and recent residency graduates. Ideal candidates will bring:
Hospital experience (required) – either direct or via a completed hospital residency.
BS or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
Current Florida Pharmacist License or eligibility to obtain one.
Board Certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong critical thinking and sound clinical judgment.
Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay Range : $57.74 – $73.04 (based on experience)
Shift Differentials :
Night Shift: +$7.50/hour
Weekend Shift: +$3.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus : $20,000
