The Respiratory Care Practitioner operates respiratory care equipment under physician supervision to diagnose and treat respiratory diseases, while supporting education and quality assurance programs. This role requires accredited respiratory therapy education and licenses including Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Description
Under the supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care Services and upon the request of the physician sets up and operates, according to established departmental policies, various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. Has an active role in in-service education and quality assurance program. Demonstrates behavior practices that reflect the philosophy, Mission and Values of Providence and Providence Standards of Conduct.
