Contract:   Part-time, freelance up to 5 days per week

Salary:  $600 to $950 per day (for full day)

Accommodation:   Not provided (live-out)

Start Date:   ASAP

Guests: up to 4guests (private family)

Transport Requirement:   Driving licence preferred

Job description:

We are seeking a few highly professional and talented Freelance Private Chefs to provide exceptional culinary services to our discerning clients in New York City.

The ideal chefs are masters of diverse world cuisines with a strong passion for health, nutrition, and wellness. You will be responsible for creating bespoke, delicious, and nutritionally balanced meals tailored to the specific dietary goals and preferences of each client. This role requires the utmost discretion, a calm demeanor, and impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization to seamlessly integrate into private residences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute creative, health-conscious menus based on client-specific dietary needs, including but not limited to low-cholesterol, plant-based, low-carb, gluten-free, and anti-inflammatory diets.

• Demonstrate expertise in a wide range of international cuisines, preparing authentic and innovative dishes that are both flavorful and visually stunning.

• Prepare meals in various formats according to the client's schedule; this may include freshly plated warm lunches and dinners on some days, while also requiring the preparation of boxed-up meals for later consumption.

• Manage all kitchen provisioning, including sourcing the highest quality ingredients, grocery shopping, and restocking the fridge and pantry for the client's convenience.

• Maintain an immaculately clean and organized kitchen and work area at all times, adhering to the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

• Operate with complete professionalism and discretion, respecting the privacy and lifestyle of our clients.

Candidates Profile:

• Proven experience as a Private Chef, preferably within private homes or for high-net-worth individuals.

• Exceptional culinary skill and a deep, practical knowledge of global cuisines (e.g., Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, Latin American, etc.).

• Verifiable expertise in nutrition, wellness cooking, and catering to various complex dietary requirements.

• Extremely organized, reliable, and meticulous in all aspects of work.

• A calm, professional, and discreet personality, able to work unobtrusively in a private home environment.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing client needs.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.

Strong organizational skills, a creative approach to menu planning, and a warm, professional personality are all important for this role.
