Pay Rate: $35 $40 per hour
The facility is a well-established, independent orthopedic practice in Grand Rapids, MI. They are currently seeking a Per Diem X-Ray Technician to support their clinical team on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for flexible and dependable professionals looking to work in a daytime-only outpatient setting , with no nights, weekends, or holidays.
ScheduleCore Coverage: Tuesdays and Fridays for the first 4 weeks
PRN Status: Additional coverage as needed for the job-share partner and clinic absences
Day Shifts Only No nights, weekends, or holidays
The X-Ray Technician will play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to support orthopedic patient care. You will work closely with physicians and the clinical team to ensure timely, safe, and effective imaging services in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols
Prepare and position patients with attention to comfort and safety
Operate imaging equipment and ensure diagnostic image quality
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance
Clean and maintain X-ray equipment and exam areas
Provide patients with clear explanations of procedures and answer questions
Occasionally assist with clinic phone coverage and general office tasks
ARRT certification preferred (new grads and those with pending licensure are welcome to apply)
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and general computer systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Orthopedic imaging experience is a plus but not required
Professional, team-oriented attitude , with adaptability and reliability
Flexible per diem schedule , great for those seeking supplemental hours
Primary availability required on Tuesdays and Fridays
